The meeting was called to order at 7 PM by the group’s president Paul Williams

 

David Hook gave a treasurer’s report

A Sky warn class will be held on Saturday February 4th at the County Police station.

Class starts at 10 AM

The 2006 Technician class will also start on Saturday February 4th at 10 AM also

This class will be at EOC and will run for 5 weeks. The test for this class will be given on March 18th at the Public Library on Garrison Blvd. You cans also take the test at the Charlotte Ham Fest March 11th

Field Day will be a joint effort between GAARC and ARES

A location is still needed; the location must have running water and facilities

The request for the Farmers Market was put in with the date of December 2nd, 2006

Glenn purchased a PA system for use at the Ham Fest 

The groups agreed to purchase/ reimburse Glenn for the PA system for future use of the PA system. David Hook, treasure, will cut Glenn a check for the cost of the system

The topic for this evening meeting was 12 Volt DC Distribution given by Don Wankle

When Don completed his topic he asked is there any Topics you would like to see discussed at a meeting

  “Taking the memory out of a battery  “

Glenn Varner discussed this topic years ago

Would like to have this topic touched on again

The group discussion was ways to improve the next GAARC Ham Fest
