Glenn Adams (KD4TLC) called the meeting to order.
David Hook (KE4GES) gave the treasurers report.
Personal Stitches has confirmed that they will be at our Swap Fest.
The Wireman will not be at our Swap Fest. Rosewood is planning to
be at our Swap Fest, but they are not 100% for sure. Mark Fox
suggested that we invite a vendor other than Ham Radio equipment,
perhaps tools or something of that nature which may attract some
attention.
Glenn will have the GAARC logo done by the next meeting so everyone can
review it. The hope is to have the jackets ready before the Swap
Fest on December 3, 2005.
We will hold our November meeting at the Gastonia Police Department.
The December meeting will be held at the Golden Corral.
Gaston County now has it's own Sky Warn.
Check on the ARES web page for additional information.
Don Wankel (KG4TQE) presented tonight's program
"Why QRP? A Report on the Joys of Low-Power Ham Radio". |
