Attention Please,

 

We regret to announce that the 2007 GAARC Swapfest has been cancelled.

 

At the GAARC meeting on Thursday October 4,2007 the officers and

membership voted to postpone the Swapfest for 2007.

 

Factors that influenced determining this action to postpone include:

low response from potential vendors and dealers

the amount of work required in putting together the Swapfest

declining attendance numbers of those attending hamfests in general

 

The membership present agreed that it would be in the best interest of the

club that the Swapfest be postponed.

 

We will make attempts to notify everyone of this decision and we ask that

you please pass information this along to others.
