Amateur Radio Technician License Class and Testing Session

Beginning March 27, 2008

 

The technician license is the entry license into the exciting hobby of amateur radio. This class is a great way to get your amateur radio license. Morse code is no longer required to get any amateur radio license. The class will be taught beginning Thursday March 27,2008 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm for 6 weeks with a test session on Thursday May 8,2008. The classes will be held at the Gaston County Police Department, located at 420 W. Franklin. On the corner of Franklin Blvd and Hwy 321 South.

 

The cost of the class is $35, which includes a study book, the required testing fee and a 1-year membership to the Gastonia Area Amateur Radio Club. We encourage you to sign up early.
