Amateur Radio Technician
License Class and Testing Session

The
technician license is the entry license into the exciting hobby of amateur radio.
This class is a great way to get your amateur radio license. Morse code is no
longer required to get any amateur radio license. The class will be taught
beginning Thursday March 27,2008 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm for 6 weeks with a test
session on Thursday May 8,2008. The classes will be held at the Gaston County
Police Department, located at 420 W.
The
cost of the class is $35, which includes a study book, the required testing fee
and a 1-year membership to the Gastonia Area Amateur Radio Club. We encourage
you to sign up early.
